ToolGuyd reported that a Home Depot Milwaukee M12 Fuel bundle priced at $224 included a hammer drill, impact driver, an extra 5Ah battery and a 40-piece screwdriver bit set. The bundle cost the same as a tool-and-battery offer without the bit set, though the deal was due to end at 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, 2026, or earlier if supplies ran out.

Home Depot’s Oct. 9 tool deals included a $224 Milwaukee M12 Fuel bundle with a hammer drill, impact driver, extra 5Ah battery and 40-piece screwdriver bit set, according to tool-deal publication ToolGuyd. The package was listed at the same price as a comparable tool-and-battery offer without the bits, making the accessory set the notable pricing difference for shoppers considering the Milwaukee kit.

ToolGuyd said the $224 offer included the M12 Fuel brushless hammer drill and impact driver combo, an additional XC 5Ah battery and the 40-piece bit set. The report compared it with a deal for the same tool combo and battery at the same price, but without the bit set. On that comparison, buyers would get the bits without paying extra for them.

The publication said this pricing differed from earlier appearances of a similar bundle. It recalled that the combo kit, battery and bit set had previously been listed for $249, while buyers could get the combo kit and the same bit set for $239. ToolGuyd said it had criticized that earlier structure because the bundle cost $10 more than buying those components through the lower-priced combination it identified.

The report also mentioned a separate Milwaukee M12 Fuel kit discount with a free battery, as well as other Home Depot daily offers involving brands and products such as DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee outdoor power tools. It did not provide full prices or terms for every offer in the article text. ToolGuyd said the deals were set to expire at 3 a.m. Eastern on Oct. 10, unless inventory ran out sooner.

The Bit Set Changes the Value Comparison

For shoppers already considering the M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver, the central point is the difference between the bundle listings: ToolGuyd reported that the $224 version included a 40-piece bit set at no additional listed cost compared with a similar offer containing the tools and extra battery. That makes it worth checking the itemized contents, not just the headline price, before choosing between packages.

The comparison is also time-sensitive. ToolGuyd said the offers could end at the stated deadline or earlier if supplies sold out. Prices and stock can change, so the report’s figures describe the listings at the time it was published rather than guaranteeing what a shopper will see later.

Earlier Bundle Pricing Was Higher

ToolGuyd framed the new price as a change from previous listings it had observed. According to the publication, a bundle containing the Milwaukee combo kit, battery and bit set had appeared at $249 on multiple occasions, while a kit-and-bit combination was available for $239. The new $224 price brought the larger bundle, including the extra battery and bit set, in line with the tool-and-battery offer without that accessory set.

The report also identified another bundle whose bit set had a stated retail value of $40 and which cost $18 more than the version without it. ToolGuyd said it had seen similar pricing patterns more than once. These are the publication’s observations of the listings; the source material does not include a Home Depot explanation of how the bundle prices were set.

““Today, the price of the larger bundle, with tools, extra battery, and bit set, is the same as for the tool set plus battery. $224.””

— ToolGuyd

Cause and Availability Remain Unconfirmed

It is not clear why the bundle price changed. ToolGuyd wondered whether its earlier criticism had prompted the new listing, but explicitly allowed that the timing could be coincidental. The source provides no confirmation from Home Depot that the publication’s comments influenced the price.

The report also does not establish how long the $224 offer remained available after publication, whether every store or online shopper saw the same price, or whether stock lasted through the advertised cutoff. It does not provide complete terms for all the other daily deals mentioned.

Check the Listing Before Checkout

Shoppers interested in the Milwaukee package would need to check Home Depot’s current listing for the price, included components and availability, since the reported offer was time-limited and subject to earlier sellout. The stated deadline was 3 a.m. ET on Oct. 10, 2026. ToolGuyd advised readers that other daily tool offers were also available to browse, but the source material does not confirm their later status.

Key Questions

What was included in the $224 Milwaukee bundle?

ToolGuyd reported that it included an M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo, an extra XC 5Ah battery and a 40-piece screwdriver bit set.
